Train-Tech has developed a tiny sound capsule that elicits real and rich railway sounds from your favourite train. The SFX is completely self-contained with a built-in speaker and battery that requires no pickups or wiring of any kind. It is therefore easy to install and works with any train, whether analog or digital. At the heart of each SFX is a microchip that contains the real recorded train sounds and a small motion sensor that detects what the train is doing and plays the most appropriate sounds through the small speaker.The motion sensor also switches the power on and off, so no switch is needed and the battery life is preserved as long as possible.
A CR2032 battery is required for operation.
