Model: HO gauge DC. Diesel locomotive CC 72130 of the French State Railways. «En Voyage» design. Many separately attached plug-in parts, some made as etched parts. Used in front of express trains on non-electrified main lines. Switchable headlight/tail light with DIP switch.

Prototype: The CC 72000 was considered the most powerful diesel locomotive of the SNCF when it made its rail debut in 1967. With its diesel-electric drive, the series was suitable for both high speeds and for transporting heavy loads. For over 40 years, the SNCF used the locomotives in front of express trains – for example between Lyon and Marseille or Paris and Basel – and in front of heavy freight trains.
