Model: Om gauge DC. Stake wagon Rp-w 8359 of the RhB. Model in 1:45 scale (0m fine scale) and track width 22.2mm. Platform railings that can be plugged in or stowed under the frame. Loading area with wooden detailing, attached brake rods, boiler and brake lines. Bogie with brake shoes at wheel set level. Factory-fitted with Kadee couplings, spring-loaded center buffers are included as replacement parts, prepared for screw couplings. Metal wheels with printed wheel set markings.
Prototype: From 1993, the RhB purchased the platform wagons Rp-w 8351-8360 for the construction of the Vereina Tunnel. They were initially used mainly in block train operations with striking yellow Vereina excavation troughs in the Prättigau between Klosters and Untervaz and in 1997, after the installation of six double stakes per wagon side, they were prepared for the transport of logs. In 2004, the designation was changed to Sp-w, and from 2006, additional front handles were retrofitted for shunting.
