Model: HO gauge DC. Heavy-duty transport wagon, 6-axle, type Sammp 705 of the DB AG. The wagon has a foldable railing.

Prototype: Between 1942 and 1944, the DRB purchased 6-axle heavy-duty flat wagons for transporting tanks that could carry up to 80 tons. The wagons were known as SSyms Köln. During the Second World War, these wagons were scattered everywhere, over 300 wagons then came to the DB and were classified as SSym 46. Here they were mainly used to transport slabs and were renumbered Sa 705 in 1964. It was only when newer wagons became available for slab transport in 1983 that the wagons, now known as Sammp 705, were gradually phased out – a handful of the wagons were still in DB AG’s inventory at the beginning of Era V.
