Model: TT gauge DC. Diesel locomotive V 60 of the German State Railroad. The model has the small driver’s cab with the top light, many individually attached parts, metal coupling rods, digital and sound retrofitting prepared.Prototype: The new diesel-hydraulic locomotive was an ideal shunting machine that would also prove itself in front of local goods trains and on branch lines. The cab, which was not yet optimally designed, as well as corrections to the vehicle part led to the development of the successor series V 60.12. Overall, however, the V 60.10 proved itself, so that the last examples of the Deutsche Reichsbahn were not taken out of service until 1990. Some private railway companies still have the locomotives in service today.
